Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise is a popular American singer, writer and actress who is well-known for her portrayal of Ginger Grant in the 1960s television show Gilligan's Island. She began acting as a stage performer in the 1950s starting by performing in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. After that, she performed in several Broadway performances before she was a star on national stage alongside Li'l Abner in. She also released her first music album It's Time for Tina during the same year. Louise began her Hollywood career in the year 1958 when she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a film that was dramatic. It was a huge success and Louise earned the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. In the years prior to this she attended the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her instructor. Her next unforgettable role was in 1964. She was signed by CBS to play Ginger Grant. Louise kept juggling her career with ease between Broadway TV and Hollywood playing somber characters against her perceived image of being a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. She has also appeared in SG-1 as well as Helen Magnus, but in the last few years she's gained recognition for herself as a director of famous TV shows, including Supernatural. She was birthed in Essex August 28th, 1965. Her family later relocated to Toronto to spend her youth. When she was selected in 1997 to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living there ever since.
