Cecily strong
Cecily Legler Strong, an American stand-up comic and actress, is famous for her work in the role of a cast member on 'Saturday Night Live.' She began her career in theatre but got inclined to comedy at the age of nine when she took a class in Improv. The initial plan was to become an actor, but she soon realized that the thing she really enjoys is comedy. After that, she shifted her focus to performing Improv. Her first gig was on cruise ships with fellow performers from Second City Conservatory and iO Chicago. Strong continued to perform in popular shows like Chicago Sketch Fest, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, New York Sketchfest and Virgin Daiquiri, the female-only improv troupe. In 2012, she became a celebrity when she was featured at the end of "Saturday Night Live" during the 39th season as a guest cast member co-anchoring Weekend Update with Seth Meyers first, and Colin Jost later. The character of Cecily from the show "The Girls You Wouldn't Start a Conversation With in a Party" was by far the most memorable part of the show. Her debut came as a movie actress in the same movie, entitled "How to make money from the Uterus". She has a strong opinion against showing women as mere bikini-models or girlfriends but not as major character in mainstream films.
