Durrani Popal was a resident of Los Angeles after graduating with the intention of making herself famous in the city. The selection process was for her to be the position as merchandising director at the DASH store in Calabasas. The DASH boutique in Calabasas, California was relocated to West Hollywood (California) in 2012. The store that was temporarily located in Southampton, New York opened its doors to the general public in 2014. The show was a spin-off show "Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons" as she was working at the shop. At first, the producers believed they had introduced DASH's personnel to determine the reaction of the public towards the new spinoff. The TV show, which starred Popal as well as her colleagues, was later revealed.Durrani Popal, who is often referred to as an Kim Kardashian lookalike she has been greatly inspired by Kim's fashion sense and believes she is an inspiration.
